Hard Boiled Eggs - Low Carb Snack


6 – 7 Eggs


In a sauce pan, add the eggs and cover with water.

Place on heat and bring to a boil.

Turn off heat and let the eggs sit on the stove in the hot water for 13 – 15 minutes.

Add cold water to cool the eggs down and peel to eat.

Notes: Hard boiled eggs are great to keep on hand.  You can store them in the shell and peel to use them as needed.  They make great snacks, good to add to chef salads or tuna / chicken salad and of course are the main ingredient in egg salad.  I make hard boiled eggs every week.  In a pinch, for a snack, I’ll eat an egg and a bacon slice or a slice of cheese.  I like to put a little salt on the egg before eating.
