Garlic Green Beans - Low Carb Recipe

Ingredients :

1 Cup of Green Beans (frozen or fresh)
3 Cloves of Garlic - diced
2 tsp Olive Oil
1/4 tsp thyme
Lemon
Chicken Stock (optional)
Salt & Pepper

Directions:

If using frozen green beans, then steam first to thaw. Add a splash of water and steam in skillet covered for several minutes.

In a skillet over medium heat, add the oil and the garlic. Cook uncovered for 2 minutes.

Add the green beans and thyme (optional splash of chicken stock), then stir to coat. Cook uncovered for 2 - 3 minutes or until you reach the desired tenderness for the green beans.

Finish by squeezing lemon juice over the green beans.
