DairyCarbs in Dairy

Most dairy contains a small amount of carbs. It's also a good source of minerals.

Cheese, butter and cream are all usually safe to consume while eating a low carb diet.

The exception is milk. Milk is actually high in sugar, milk sugar. it's recommended to avoid milk when eating low carb.

Also try to choose dairy products that are FULL fat.

I tend to avoid eating low-fat anything when eating low carb. You want the fat to help slow down absorption of carbohydrates and for energy.

Some people are allergic to dairy or are dairy intolerant. You can do low carb without dairy with no problems.

Dairy also makes for quick snacks, it's fairly portable and low carb.
